I'm still going through all the material, but there's nothing solid so far. It seems that there is a consensus that surgery is the best method in practically all settings as far as I've read.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and think this seal you mentioned stops the feline in question from ovulating, right? Or the fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus.

[Cats are induced ovulators.

In human women, one method of birth control is tying off the fallopian tubes so that the ova can't reach the uterus in the first place. My question is this... would it be possible to do this with Amaya's own oviducts with either chakra or a seal?

I've been thinking about this, yes.

[Itachi makes it his business to obtain knowledge related to many things, ninja and otherwise, but the anatomy of a cat has not been among these things.]

The only problem is finding a way to test out methods beforehand. I don't like the idea of doing experimental treatment on Amaya.

You could run simulations in one of the Battle Dome chambers and test it out there. It's what I do when familiarizing myself with a new medical procedure.
