[Taking Itachi's hand and allowing himself to be helped up. He'll just follow on slowly after him.

Caged and weak. Not breaking down like after Luceti Valley, not yet, but if the pirate he was could see him now...

He needs to go back to the sea. Be what he's supposed to be.

... maybe there's a mission. Haha. He could even tolerate the Malnosso for that chance. It's horrifying. That. After everything...

... he can't even really recall his nakama... everything before Sabaody is too blurry. And he's willing to work with them just for a chance to bring everything back into focus.



Not showing it, but breaking down after all. Just a silent one.

[Itachi leads him inside, over to the free bed, sitting him down on the edge.

Then he kneels before him, reaching up to place a hand on the other's chin.]

I need you to look into my eyes. Hopefully this will only take a moment.

[The Sharingan flares to life, irises going red.]

[Law locks tired, fracturing eyes on his. Right now, there is no hint of blue left in them. They are grey and ringed with shadow black as the abyss.]

I'm ready.

[He waits. He will not fight it.]

[Itachi has to be careful. He doesn't want to paralyze Law through fear, or use any other similar abilities the sharingan allows. The tsukiyomi is out of the question.

He instead sends a careful pulse of chakra directly into Law's own, helping to open pathways and allow for a release of built up stress without inducing an actual drain. This is done in part with the help of Mara, as it's not an Uchiha technique.

And then a shock directly to the brain - nothing too harmful, but enough to induce a black-out in someone as weary as Law currently is.]

[Law crumples forward soundlessly. Doesn't fight the blackness rushing in; instead he embraces it.

He loses sense of everything.

It's the most merciful thing he's ever had.]

[Itachi helps him lay back on the bed, then sags against it himself. Using his abilities like that had worn on him too.

When he's sure Law looks comfortable, he'll make his way back to his own room. There's no reason he shouldn't get some rest as well.]
