[Keeping his sharingan active constantly is more draining than usual. For now, Itachi has let his eyes revert back to their natural state, leaving him completely blind as he sits atop the rail of the bridge near the item shop.

He hasn't yet picked out a place to live, instead sleeping on the ground in whatever out of the way location seems the most comfortable at the time. At some point he's going to have to settle in somewhere. Perhaps after he's confronted his brother.

That can't be held off forever.

He's been turning a flat stone over in his hand, and now he tosses it out across the river. Even without his sight he can hear it skip at least three times on the water.]

They caught me up on stuff back home, and we got on the same page with each other. It's only be a few days since they just got here. They know you and Sasuke are here, too.

[Sure, it's relatively lack of action considering they're ninja from Konoha. Maybe Itachi was onto something here.]

[Itachi is 'staring' blankly in the other ninja's direction, and it's almost directly on Naruto but not at his eyes. If it had been, it might have been more intimidating.]

Do not become complacent, just because Sasuke is here.

[He has a point, and no matter how Itachi 'stares' at Naruto, it's always sort of intimidating. Itachi's no pushover, after all.]

[His sharingan flares up for a moment, but he's used it so much lately under these restrictions that the use of chakra makes him a little dizzy. He blinks a few times, and his eyes return to normal. He'll walk blind for a bit, then. It isn't as though his senses aren't honed enough.

He moves to step past Naruto.]

[Naruto has been slacking in the whole 'trying to escape Luceti' department. That, and he hasn't seen Sasuke since he arrived in Luceti either. Has he become a little too complacent?

He doesn't move as Itachi moves to step past him, instead he chooses to look down at the ground.]

[Itachi isn't quite expecting Naruto not to move. Thus, a casually outstretched hand finds the boy's head. Realizing what he's done, he shoves the boy to the side harshly. Otherwise it might have appeared to be a show of affection.]

[Naruto stumbles to the side a bit, before catching himself to make sure he didn't fall. He really shouldn't let his guard down around him.]
