I still don't trust these things. [The bracelets, and their network. Plus it seems odd using them to talk about things that aren't mundane.]

[A certain restaurant probably isn't a good idea, though that doesn't mean he won't continue to visit it in the future anyway.]

[Yeah, that would be his first suggestion if it weren't for events that happened there last time.]

Outside is fine. I'll be there in twenty. [He shuts the communication off, making his way over to Heimdall.]

[Itachi will wait outside the welcome hall patiently, occasionally glancing upward as though watching for trouble in the skies.]

[Catching Itachi watching the sky, he can't help but glance upwards himself. Just for a moment.]

I doubt it will any time soon. Not in the "real" version of this world.

[Oh he hears them alright. Naturally, there was plenty information available now on what had happened, and who had caused it. Too late to do anything about it though.]

I guess they weren't entirely lying about our powers having an incompatibility with this place. [It makes more sense as to why the enemy even allowed it, if they were all expected to drop dead because of it.]

Although it was not instantaneous. [That would have almost been better.]

[It is, but he wonders, if it were to happen again, whether they would have any control over it.]

[He raises a hand to his bad eye. The lid has closed again.]

[Well that's something at least. Not that he expected any complications, things had been fine the last time as well.

And whilst thinking on the subject, perhaps now is as good a time as any to admit to that. It is still hard to admit too, but apparently more people knew about it than he had realised. Three guesses as to who told them.]

[That would be his best guess, given his hesitancy to talk about it. Though of course that could also be just because he doesn't want his brother to know he was killed.]

I'm not angry at him anymore, just at her for causing it. But that's why we weren't speaking when you first showed up, I'm sure you noticed.

Anyway my point is, things like that can happen as well as what the city just went through.

It wouldn't be a problem if we could use the Sharingan. There were no obvious signs that anything was happening, until it was too late.
