[He falls silent, when he speaks again it's soft, almost as if he's thinking out loud.]

I think I'm going to find someplace new to eat for a while.

[Onigiri aren't as nice when the places you eat them have fresh memories of death.]

[Itachi closes his eyes. As much as he likes that place, the atmosphere has been tainted by recent events. It's unfortunate.]

... I'm sorry. I should have - [Found a better place to die? It had been close and comforting, but all the same...]

I should have gone somewhere else.

[It's a shame it happened that way, yet his lips curl up ever so slightly.]

We both ended up going there. I liked that place.

I still like it. I plan to return there in the future.

[Perhaps he can get Sasuke to come along also.]

I do too. Just not right now.

[He will more than likely go if Itachi asks though.]

... Are there any other places you enjoy?

The other places are convenient, but I don't spend much time in them. It's not as though I've made a habit out of eating out, though.

Do you do a lot of your own cooking as well, then?

[He would have had to, most likely, given his loner lifestyle...]

I guess. The kitchens are always stocked, after all. And there's no charge.

[At least these days he is taking better care of himself. But without a stable source of income, eating out is not a regular thing.]

Mm. That's what I usually do as well.

... A picnic. The two of us should have one at some point. We could each make a meal for the other.

[There aren't many people Sasuke would go on a picnic with.

Okay actually that list is extremely small but if it means getting to spend time with his brother, he's all for it.

His lips curl up in that sort of smiling smirk.]

We shall have to arrange that, then.
