I just thought that I'd [ check in on you ] ask if you were also having issues with skeletons where you're staying.

I am, yes. It seems to be a common problem.

I'd avoid attacking them, if you haven't learned that already. It definitely makes it worse.

I have not done so yet. They're a nuisance, but harmless enough otherwise.

Ours has an interest in the refrigerator. It's bothersome.

Have you found anything in particular that they're drawn to? I can't relinquish the refrigerator.

What is it about the refrigerator that draws them in? Replicating that on a larger scale might work.

Cold temperature? A motion they can perform that causes a light to turn on?

Both of those are a little difficult to arrange...

I wasn't sure what you might have at your disposal.

Perhaps they can be locked up to keep them out of the way.

I've considered this. Perhaps a trunk which can then be buried.

Mostly, yes. Though it can't be said that they don't get in the way from time to time.

Maybe they can be trained to perform menial tasks.

I had considered that. Perhaps I will mention it to the children. It would be something to do.

If he won't tell you, then you can either choose to look into the situation further or leave him be. He might come out of it on his own, and clearly he doesn't want to worry you either even if it's too late for that.

You would need to watch him to see when he seems the most upset, or ask any friends of his who might know. Should you want to continue investigating, that is.
