[Itachi focuses the view on himself, sitting in the living room of the house he shares with Law. As usual, he's in a plain blue silk shirt with his black clothes beneath. At his feet, a gray cat rubs against the leg of his chair.]

It has come to my attention that several others from the world I originate from have arrived in Luceti. To them, if they are aware of who I am, I simply state my presence and assure that there is no need to consider me an adversary at this point in time. This is in the hopes of avoiding any unfortunate altercations in the future should we happen to run across each other.

[Things are chaotic enough as is.]

I am under close scrutiny [This is mostly true to a point.] and have been here for some time, so there is no cause for alarm.

Oh, thank you. [Law smiles tiredly.] That will be perfect.

[He raises an arm, before letting it drop.] I'm gonna have to do something about my tattoos before I go. They're too distinctive. Maybe makeup. There's a Shift in that place that neutralizes all abilities and magics, so it limits my options.

Create an entire persona. Gotta figure out a name...

[Tired. Rambling. Plotting while sick? Not the best option.]

[The ninja steps over shortly, bending to lay a hand on Law's head, fingers running through his hair.]

After you have rested some more, perhaps. I'm sure something will come to you after you've eaten.

[The pirate quiets, head turning slightly into that touch. He sighs, eyes closing slightly, and a tired smile remaining on his lips.]

Mm. You're right. Maybe after I get something into me. Right now I'm definitely not on my A game.

That is unfortunately apparent.

[He continues brushing his fingers over the other's scalp.]

I'm sure it will pass.

It will. [Sleepier, with a growing contented tone. He's a damn lucky pirate and he knows it.] I just have to be patient.

If you rest, I promise to wake you before you sleep the day away.

Mmm...? [Just as planned, huh? Lulling me to sleep.] ... okay...

[Zzzzzzzzz...]

[Indeed. Just as planned.

Itachi lets his hand fall so that he can rub the man's back lightly as he dozes off. In a bit, he'll get the requested food started.]

[Knew it.

Thankfully, Law's sleep is dreamless. He barely twitches. Even when one of their cats jumps on his chest and uses him for an impromptu pillow.

The twitching increases a little when he unconsciously smells food. Mmm. Something smells good.]

[Itachi will bring the soup directly out to Law when it's ready, setting it on the coffee table nearby.]

[Twitching more. Cracking open an eye. Smiling groggily.]

Mmm?

[The cat on his chest gives a sound of protest when he tries to sit up, and he gives her a befuddled look. Such an awake man he is.]

I hope you slept well.

[Itachi bends down to gently remove the cat from the pirate.]

[The cat in question gives Itachi a sulkface. He was a warm and comfortable to nap. Why?]

I did.

[He's surprised. Most often he... doesn't.]

[Itachi ignores the sulk, petting it a bit before setting it down.]

Good. [And there's a bit of a smile on his face.]

It will make your planning easier.

Mmm... thank you. [Still waking up, but he's just noticed the soup. So he sits up, looking more alert, and reaches for the bowl. Blows on the surface briefly to cool the liquid, and slowly begins to eat.]

... I still have to think of a name. Any suggestions?

I'm afraid I've never much been good at that sort of thing.

[Itachi didn't really use any aliases, after all.]

Takashi? Maybe.

That's pretty common.

You could pass for a Takashi.

And common is good. As long as it's not common to the point of drawing attention with it's unoriginality.

[A nod and a small chuckle.] Like Bob. I swear, nearly everyone I've met back home gravitates to Bob at least once.

...Is that one common where you're from?

Common enough it all the Blues. Given East and West Blue generally have names patterned more like your world's [Family name, then given.], while North and South are the other way around.

Yours is pretty East Bluish for instance. If you ever go to my home, people might assume it's your home ocean.

It's strange, how you delegate regions by oceans. But then, I suppose it isn't from the prospective of a pirate.

Easier for us that way with so little scattered land and so much water. Pirates, Marines, everyone. It also reflects how many people call the sea itself their home.

It's not uncommon to never step foot on real soil, you know. Some people spend their entire lives out there.

I can only imagine.

You know from our conversations before how little time I've spent on open water.
