[Today Itachi is around town. ...Or is he?

The ninja is once again testing his limits in this place, and today is further experimenting in genjutsu - illusionary techniques. What he can do now is so much more limited than what he could before.

He will be appearing all around town, and if you see him today, you're already caught in his illusion. It affects all your senses, and nothing should appear off in any way. It will also be perfectly harmless. He simply won't be where you think you're seeing him.

He may incline his head to you, perhaps looking to be in a talkative mood.

Or perhaps, if you prefer, he can be found in the flesh at the end of the day sitting outside the Seventh Heaven, clearly exhausted though doing his best not to appear so.]

((ooc: If you think your character would be able to see through this (this isn't common, even among people highly trained in genjutsu, but I can account for varying universes) let me know.))

[It may be some time later, but a tired figure will eventually enter and stand in the middle of the room, attempting to pinpoint her position through sound.]

Hey, she's used to ninja like that. *She's* the weirdo.

[it shouldn't be too hard, she's across the room ordering some after dinner tea]

[Tea is good. He catches the end of her order and slowly makes his way in her direction, careful of any other tables in his path.

His hand finally finds the edge of her table, and from there to the back of the chair across from her. Itachi sits, perhaps a little heavier than necessary, without saying a word.]

[she looks surprised - not that he can see it - but tries really hard to keep that out of her voice]

Bring two cups, okay? [and whoever is waiter will disappear]

[Simply:] I didn't feel like walking back up to the apartment just yet.

Hey, you don't have to explain anything to me.

[he probably hears the smirk. But she's glad of some company.]

[That's good, because beyond that he won't. Itachi gives a low 'hmn' and settles a little more comfortably into the chair.]

[it seems he wanted something, so she's gonna let him bring it up when he's ready. When the tea arrives she'll pour him a cup of it first, before going to fill her own]

[He accepts the tea gratefully, handling the cup with care.

Nothing more is said just yet. Casual conversation isn't his thing.]

[and she knows it. She doesn't feel like a whole lotta talking right now either. So this quiet is okay. Nice, even.]

[Eventually he finishes his tea and sets it down.]
