Is there any method of distributing printed information in this city? Books, newspapers.

Being provided with everything is no reason to allow creativity to go stagnant.

Well there are certainly plenty of books, enough for a library, but as for newspapers, the place is sadly lacking. No postal system either. If you wanted to write something down on hardcopy, there's no shortage of spare paper, but it'd be up to you to get it to the recipient.

As a matter of fact, I was talking to one of the people in charge about getting one of those a while back. They provided during one of the drafts, but it was in the building out there, so it's not much use to us now.

So we fight a foe with a generic name at the whim of, and with an explanation from, those that won't even tell us our purpose for being brought here.

More or less. However, although the Malnosso were the ones who gave us the explanation in the first place, I think anyone who's encountered the Third Party in person by now will tell you that it's a completely accurate one. They're not exactly attempting to hide their objectives.
