[This particular new feather is walking slowly through town, glancing around with a curious but detached sort of gaze. More than anything else, he looks lost.

Itachi could have snuck around for a while, done reconnaissance in the proper ninja fashion, but he was so thrown off by the mere matter of his continued existence that he hadn't even bothered.

He's silent, taking in everything without appearing to be doing so, journal held loosely in one hand.]

[Well then. Sheena's sitting outside. If sitting can look deliberate, this is how it is. And he is a familiar face - too familiar to hold herself back from potentially freaking him out.]

Itachi?

[Hopefully Itachi wouldn't mind the sight of Naruto walking by. With a bag of groceries that he so desperately needs.

He's too busy absorbed in the idea of what he's going to eat when he gets home to even notice a familiar presence nearby.]

[Itachi stops, turning slowly to give the woman a look that says he has no idea who she is.]

[Well. Too late now, Sheena, he totally thinks you're insane. ...And maybe a threat.]

...That's you, right?

[Stop. Blink. Turn.

That was... more than a little surreal. He attempts to get the boy's attention before he gets too far away.]

Uzumaki Naruto?

[His eyes narrow slightly, but he doesn't move.]

Yes. That is my name.

[This could be going worse.]

I'm Sheena. ...Sorry I surprised you.

[Naruto hears his name being called and stops his stride, turning his head.] Yeah--

[What does he see? A face he didn't expect to see anytime soon.]

... Itachi?

That's not a problem.

But... I would like to know where I am.

It's called Luceti. ...If you bring your book over here I can show you a better explanation than any I'd be able to give you.

[Itachi nods, watching the boy carefully.]

[He hesitates only a moment, then steps over and holds his journal out to her.]

[She takes it and opens it, flipping just a few pages before holding it back out, still open, to the beginning of Raine's guide]

It's a lot to read, though, so I can give you the short version if you want. It'll save you some time, and you can look at the rest of it later.

[Ted had to give himself a moment to realize that there was an unfamiliar face in the village right now, particularly one right in front of him. He knew that there were a lot of residents he wasn't too familiar with, if at all, but something about this guy caught his attention. Particularly, because he resembled someone he knew, though only to a certain extent, but enough to make Ted wonder if he should approach him.]

[He frowns at the page he's shown.]

[It's been a long time since she's read that guide.]

[Itachi will take note of the boy, a glance out of the corner of his eye, but do nothing in regards to approaching.]

[He looks thoughtful for a moment.]

[... He definitely resembled another ninja way too much. Approaching him then.] Hey there. [An awkward pause.] You... wouldn't happen to be new here, would you?

Okay. But some of it might really surprise you.

This is Luceti. It's a whole different world than the one you came from. The Malnosso are in charge here; there's a barrier around the village and its surrounding area keeping...uh, us in, other stuff out, or both.

[He stops, allowing Ted to come closer but not meeting him.] There's no need to be polite. I've clearly not been here long.

[If he's bothered by any of this, he doesn't let it show, just nods for her to continue.]
